Full Truckload Shipping Services to Fulfill Your Unique Requirements

You’ve got a big shipment and you need it there at a certain time? Then full truckload or partial truckload is going to be your answer.

With our nationwide network of over 120 carriers, we’ve got the connections and relationships to help you find the most cost-efficient solution for your unique shipping needs.

Your shipment gets where it needs to be when it needs to be there without you paying more than necessary. Sounds good, right?

What is the difference between Full Truckload Shipping and LTL Shipping?

If you have freight that is time-sensitive, whether a full truckload or not, full truckload or partial truckload is going to be your best bet. By consigning the entire truck there is no need to wait for other cargo loads like LTL sometimes has to. Your shipment will go straight to its target destination.

Full truckloads are also used when the item being shipped needs to be loaded onto the trailer either from the top or the side. Unlike dry vans (the typical semi-truck you see on America’s highways), a truck and trailer can transport large or oddly shaped shipments.

Having your freight shipments arrive when and where you need them is the exact reason why you’re shipping them in the first place. Our freight experts work with you to achieve that goal.

What is the weight limit for a full truckload?

Most drivers can handle somewhere between 42,000- and 45,000-pound loads on a truck and trailer. A typical dry van can carry up to 45,000 pounds. That being said, we will always communicate with you about the expected weight to ensure it does not exceed the carrier’s limitations.

How many pallets can a truck hold?

While pallet measurements can vary some, the standard pallet is going to be 40 inches by 48 inches. A truck can typically carry 30 standard pallets without issue. If the pallets being shipped are not standard sizes some advanced notice will be required in order to maximize the space usage in your full or partial truckload shipment.
